This ring features a piece of turquoise that was mined in the Hachita Mountains of southern New Mexico. I bought this stone from the man who mined and polished it, my friend Andy Brown of Cerrillos New Mexico, in June 2016. He calls this a "ribbon cut" because he cuts across the turquoise vein.
