This past June, I bought this turquoise cabachon from Andy Brown in Cerrillos, New Mexico. He had mined it in the southern New Mexico Hachita Mountains and cut the stone to accent the vein of turquoise. Hachita stone has iron minerals, as well as copper, which gives it a light greenish/blue hue. The ring is open on one side so the size is adjustable.
