This striking necklace is constructed by soldering together two hollow hand-hammered elongated cones know as "spiculums". They are formed to gently curve over the shoulders and are joined by chain that I made from 14 gauge wire. A jewelry mentor/friend of mine, Mary Ann Scherr, showed me a few years ago how to make this hollow form. I will show this necklace at a special show in February at the Roundabout Art Collective in Raleigh. The show's title is "Scherr Inspiration".
