I bought this piece of turquoise in a "rock shop" in Cerrillos, New Mexico, just south of Santa Fe.  It originated in a small mine in the Hatchita mountains, where Native Americans have been mining turquoise for hundreds of years.  This distinctive stone features a blend of beautiful hues of blue/green, pale yellow and reddish brown and makes this a one-of-a-kind bracelet.
