This necklace design started with a triangular shaped piece of highly polished "spiderweb" obsidian.  Obsidian is volcanic glass.  Because the stone had been cut as a triangle, I wanted the pendant, as well as the handmade chain, to follow this theme.  In order to make this necklace more versatile, the pendant can be removed so the chain can be worn by itself.
