This ring was custom made for a gent who had always wanted a "bulls-eye" malachite stone set in a ring. A master stone-cutting friend, Chris Whitley, had a beautiful piece of stone that was a blend of malachite and chrysacola. He cut this cabachon in a bulls-eye style with concentric circles around the center. I fabricated the silver sheet of the ring to resemble overlapping mountains, imitating the landscape of the American West.
